Dvilla Kasih Melati

You can access Taman Tamadun Islam (TTI) or The Islamic Civillization Park; is an outdoor edutainment park featuring the glory of the Islamic civillization as its theme.  Located in Pulau Wan Man, Kuala Terengganu, it just 4 km from Dvilla Kasih Melati, it prides itself in giving visitors a chance to visit and learn about historic menuments from around the world.

You can also access State Museum, the biggest museum complex in South-east Asia with four main blocks besides having a maritime museum and five traditional houses.

It was built with a beautiful garden landscape and resembling Terengganu’s glory which is rich in cultural history until today.

It is located on a 27 hectare land on Bukit Losong, Kuala Terengganu, it just 3.5 km from Dvilla Kasih Melati. The complex exposes an attractive architecture which is an inspiration from the old castle in Terengganu.

The main museum contains a gallery which exhibits textiles, weaving techniques, traditional weapons, petroleum development, Islamic arts and many more.

Another place that you cannot missed is a Pasar Besar Kedai Payang, The Central Market which is known as ‘Pasar Payang’ is located on the side of Terengganu River and it is the most well-known tourism destination in Kuala Terengganu. The market which is located in a modern building offers various kinds of traditional handcraft products such as batik, silk cloth, songket, brocade cloth, metal products and fresh vegetables. It is just 5.5 km from Dvilla Kasih Melati.

Visitors coming to this market will surely enjoy buying the local products such as Kerepok Lekor; a crispy fish chips made from a mixture of fish and sago powder - at cheap prices. This market is also a suitable place to observe and understand the culture here while seeing the local people busy shopping

The newly tourist attraction is just 5.5km from Dvilla Kasih Melati is a Terengganu Drawbridge.  It is Southeast Asia’s first tower drawbridge.  Its 76-meter bascule is the longest ever built on a tower bridge.  You are strongly advised to visit this iconic drawbridge where the design was inspired by Tower Bridge in London.
